How monitoring works
You don’t have to type every address. Pick a site and press “Find pages from sitemap”: we read your sitemap, leave out anything already monitored, and show you the rest to choose from. Nothing is added until you say so, because the page list is what you’re billed on. Selecting more than your plan allows is fine: the extras are accepted and wait for capacity rather than being refused, and we add them in batches for you, so a long list just takes a moment longer. If you don’t publish a sitemap we’ll tell you which addresses we tried, and you can add pages by address as before.
Add a site, nominate the pages you want watched, and we check them weekly, rerunning the AI audit only when there's something new for it to judge on that page: its images, or their alt text. A new heading or a renamed form label changes what the rule checks find without changing anything the vision model would look at, so it doesn't trigger a rerun. Findings appear under Issues, worst first.
We email you when a change introduces new critical or serious issues, at most once every 12 hours, and never when nothing new has appeared. The first check of any page is its baseline, not a change: whatever it finds was already there, so it doesn't trigger an email. That holds for your first crawl and for every page you add later. Everything that appears after a page's first check does. The checkbox above turns off all our email if you'd rather check the dashboard yourself: both these alerts and the monthly summary, which goes out once a month whether or not anything changed so that silence from us always means the same thing.
If you've just paid and this still says you have no plan, wait a few seconds and reload. Stripe confirms the subscription separately, usually within seconds. If it's still wrong after a minute, email hello@gotalt.com and we'll fix it.
